English Maths Sinhala Phonic reading I am a government-trained teacher with over 20 years of experience at a leading government school, specializing in Primary Education. I conduct tuition classes for Primary Grades 1–5, offering separate classes for Phonics Reading, English, Mathematics, and Sinhala. Phonics Reading (Separate Class): A structured phonics-based reading programme designed for young learners and beginners. Lessons use modern, fun, and interactive methods such as sound blending, decoding, storytelling, songs, games, and visual activities to help children develop early reading fluency and confidence. English (National, Cambridge and Edexcel) Focuses on vocabulary, sentence construction, reading comprehension, writing skills, and spoken English, taught in a clear and child-friendly manner. Mathematics (Primary 1–5): Concept-based teaching with step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and regular practice to build strong numeracy and logical thinking skills. Sinhala (Primary 1–5): Emphasis on correct letter formation, reading, writing, spelling, and comprehension, using structured and supportive methods and special Sinhala classes for English medium students. My teaching style is child-centered, disciplined, and encouraging, with individual attention to ensure strong foundations and steady academic progress that parents can trust.
