Ratmalana - La Petite Fleur Montessori House of Children, established in 1992, offers pre-school education that is true to the Montessori philosophy. Toddler Community (YCC) 3-year Montessori Programme Exceptional Learners Programme Dehiwala - The continuation of the Montessori system into the Primary and beyond was first introduced to Sri Lanka at LPF Academy, founded in 2007. Using the Montessori philosophy as the basis and drawing from the best in educational traditions the world over, we prepare our students, through the British National Curriculum and a holistic approach towards formation of the whole being, for one of the truly international qualifications available, the Cambridge IGCSE (equivalent to the O-Levels) examinations. Toddler Community (YCC) 3-year Montessori Programme Primary Secondary to IGCSE Exceptional Learners Programme Galle - Disseminating the real Montessori philosophy and the sought-after LPF culture within the Heritage City in the South, LPF Montessori House of Children was established in 2012, and offers the same high standards we maintain in all our Montessori programmes. 3-year Montessori Programme We are a small close knit school community, situated in a secure residential area in the suburbs of Colombo, Sri Lanka. In 1993, our school was set up with a belief in the incredible potential of the child and the desire to create a holistic school environment that would nurture and inspire this potential. La Petite Fleur Montessori House of Children follows the principles of Dr Maria Montessori and is dedicated to implement the Montessori method with the highest standard. The Montessori school accommodates nearly 180 children with a maximum of 26 in one class. Aptly furnished classrooms which are bright and cheerful, in a well-resourced, purpose built environment, have mixed age groups of children between the ages of 2 ½ years to 5 ½ years, in keeping with the Montessori philosophy.
