Samanala Valley School for English (SVS)

විෂයයන් පාඨමාලා සහ අධ්‍යාපන සුදුසුකම්

At the Samanala Valley School for English, we design our courses to help students at every level improve their knowledge of everyday English. Every course gives students the opportunity to develop their spoken and written English, as well as improve reading and listening skills. Each course consists of several modules, with a written test administered at the end of each module to enable students to consolidate and assess their knowledge. At the end of each course, a final examination consisting of a written and speaking test is conducted to assess students’ overall knowledge and comprehension of the course content. Students who successfully pass their end of term exams will receive an official certificate stating their level and grading as follows: • Simple pass (a generally good understanding of the course content) • Merit pass (strong understanding in most areas) • Distinction pass (very good understanding of all the grammar covered) Elementary Course Elementary is the most basic course we offer at the school. A combination of grammar, writing and speaking exercises is used to give students a strong grounding in the English language. Pre-Intermediate Pre-Intermediate is a mid-level course for students who have a solid foundation in basic English. The course enables students to further develop their knowledge of written and spoken English. Intermediate Intermediate is an advanced course for students who already have some fluency in English. The course focuses on developing students’ written, listening and spoken English skills so they can communicate confidently and effectively in English. SVS School for English was set up in 2006 with the aim of enabling Sri Lankans and expatriates living in Sri Lanka to develop vital, empowering English language skills to develop their confidence, widen access to an international job market, and support them in becoming successful global citizens.

  • විශාල ප්‍රමාණයේ කණ්ඩායම් පන්ති (සිසුන් 20 ට වැඩි)
