CPR / AED Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in CPR and the use of an AED. Basic First Aid Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care. CPR-AED / Basic First Aid (COMBO) Individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire or are required to be certified in basic emergency medical care. Basic Life Support This program is designed for individuals in the healthcare or professional rescuer field that are required to have professional – level basic life support training. Advanced First Aid Current, valid professional-level BLS certification (CPR Pro for the Professional rescuer – may be incorporated / conducted in conjunction with the AFA program as needed.) Wilderness First aid Certification in Adult CPR and AED is required. Prior completion of the Basic first aid class is strongly encouraged. Child and Babysitting Safety and pediatrics Teens and young adults interested in a babysitting business, or who have responsibility for younger family members. Nurses Assistant Training Suitable for all beginners entering the field of nursing. Courses will be conducted in English & Sinhala. This programme includes teaching basic English Language & computer skills. Professionally Trained Care Givers Suitable for care givers who seek employment both locally and internationally. There are courses for care givers for babies and elderly. Action to be taken in the event of fire A course suitable for everyone to understand and initiate action in an event of an outbreak of fire. Fire safety awareness An intense course of understanding the possibilities of outbreaks of fire, demonstrations & hands on practical exercises to take necessary precautions. Fire Marshal/Fire Warden & Evacuation Warden/ Floor Warden A course for persons responsible for the overseeing of outbreaks of fire in understanding the regulations for fire and general fire precautions. It aims to provide adequate knowledge to become a fire marshal. Fire Team member course 15 hours This course consists of theoretical input and practical exercises developed to measure competence relating to the key learning outcomes and will provide a diverse knowledge of handling casualties injured during an outbreak of fire. Life Support & Nursing Care is an international accredited training institute in Sri Lanka certified by the American Safety and Health Institute. ASHI has certified every Life Support and Care instructor. Certificates awarded by Life Support & Nursing Care in Sri Lanka are recognized around the world as an educational qualification and authorization to provide First Aid in times of need.
